India has a very large coastline that starts in the northwest on the border with Pakistan and goes on a counterclockwise direction up to the border with Bangladesh.

Lakshadweep Islands



Lakshadweep Islands are located on the Laccadive Sea between 200 and 450 Km off the southwestern coast of India. Their total area is 32 Sq, but the total economic zone of the islands covers 400,000 Sq Km.

Only ten of the islands are inhabited by islanders of similar ethnicity of the neighboring Kerala State.

With 36 coral islands, its marine life is unique and inspiring. Besides the great beaches there is one more plus to the islands are the shells all over the beaches that are exquisite and beautiful as the island itself.
