The Island of Cyprus is located on the easternmost part of the Mediterranean south of Turkey.

Makronissos Beach in the Ayia Napa region of Cyprus

Nissi Beach is a lovely beach of golden sands and turquoise waters, one of the best Cyprus Beaches. This beautiful resort is much calmer than its neighbor Ayia Napa.
It has all the amenities you may expect of a good beach. It features bars and restaurants and some souvenir shops for the vistors. Nissi means small island in Greek is well sheltered from the winds
Pantahou Beach in Cyprus is very popular with tourists
This beach starts at the fishing harbor of Ayia Napa and it stretches for a Kilometer to the east. It is a very popular beach for tourists.
The sands are golden and the waves are moderated, ideal for swimmers and sunbathers. There are restaurants and small stores around. There are lifeguards during the bathing hours. It is easy to access by car, bicycle or even by foot.
The spectacular beaches of Paphos in Cyprus
The Cyprus Beaches of Paphos offer year round sunshine warm seawater and sandy beaches. If you add to this the cooling breezes, the place is ideal.
This area offers everything a tourist needs like relaxing spas, great nightlife, luxury hotels and fine restaurants. If it wasn’t enough Paphos has many natural attractions like the Akamas Peninsula, Paphos forest and the Troodos Mountains.
North of Paphos you will find Coral Bay a 13 Km sandy beach that is accessible by bus. The beach offers many water sports stand.
Governors Beach is located East of Limassol, and it is a quiet tranquil setting with very safe beach for young children or non swimmers. Lara Bay is less crowded and very beautiful. It is a breeding spot for Green and Loggerhead Turtles.
Coral Bay is a beautiful beach north of Paphos
This seaside resort is located close to the town of Paralimni. It is very popular with locals and visitors alike, meaning that it can be very crowded on weekends. The most known of its beaches is Fig tree Bay Beach, probably the best of all resorts of Cyprus Beaches.
It stretches for many miles of spectacular blue waters and sandy shores of the Famagusta coastline. The Fig Tree Bay Beach also offers an array of restaurants with great Cypriot cuisine but not limited to it.
The area of Protaras’ main specialty is freshly grilled fish as well as Italian, Thai and Indian eateries among others.
Finikoudes Beach Larnaca visited by tourists and locals alike
Among the beaches of Larnaca is Makenzie Beach with its white sands beach and clear waters. They have many water sports facilities including snorkeling and Cyprus Diving. It also has many restaurants offering delicacies of the Cypriot Cuisine.
Another of Larnaca beaches is Faros Beach in the village of Pervolia, a few minutes’ drive from Larnaca International Airport.
It has beautiful surroundings. People that like peace and quiet while sunbathing love this beach.
Polis Beach, lined by pine trees is amazingly pretty
It looks like no other beaches in Cyprus. It is not so developed and lined by citrus groves. It has a spectacular view of the sea and offers forests, lush meadows and rocky areas in one.
It is located on the Crysochou Bay. It is preferred by visitors looking for a way to relax and rest.
This beach is located east of Agia Napa between Cape Greco and Protaras. It is one of the most picturesque beaches in Cyprus. It is protected from heavy winds and has almost no waves.
It has the shallowest waters on the island. The 200 by 35 meters beach is covered by white powdery sands.
It is a complete beach with all facilities like sun beds, umbrellas besides restaurants, convenient stores and lifeguards during bathing hours.
